CoVet Partners with the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants to Support Behavior Professionals Worldwide

New partnership brings AI-powered documentation tools to IAABC members, helping behavior consultants spend less time on paperwork and more time supporting animals and their caregivers.

CoVet, the AI-powered clinical copilot built by veterinary professionals, today announced a partnership with the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC), extending its AI-powered documentation platform to one of the world's leading organizations for animal behavior professionals.

Founded in 2004, IAABC supports more than 1,400 members across 70 countries, bringing together professionals specializing in companion animal behavior, training and behavior consulting. Through this partnership, IAABC members will gain access to CoVet's AI-powered documentation tools, helping streamline consultation notes, client conversations, behavior modification plans and follow-up documentation.

Animal behavior consultants play a critical role in supporting pets and their families, often working alongside veterinary teams on cases involving anxiety, fear, aggression and other behavioral concerns. Whether credentialed through organizations like IAABC, board-certified as a veterinary behaviorist, or both, they spend significant time documenting consultations, creating treatment plans and communicating with clients. By automating much of that administrative work, CoVet helps behavior professionals spend more time focused on improving outcomes for animals and the people who care for them.

"Behavior consultants and veterinary professionals share the same goal: delivering the best possible care for every animal," said Aaron Massecar, Head of Partnerships at CoVet. "We're excited to partner with IAABC to bring AI-powered documentation to a community that has long deserved tools built for the realities of their work. By reducing administrative burden, improving client communication and creating more time for meaningful interactions, we're helping support the entire care team."

"Animal behavior professionals devote countless hours to helping animals and the people who care for them, yet documentation and client communication can consume valuable time that could otherwise be spent supporting patients,"said Barbara Hodges, DVM, President, IAABC “Partnering with CoVet gives our members access to technology that helps streamline documentation, improve client communication and create more time to focus on behavior, welfare and positive outcomes for the animals and families we serve. We're excited to bring this opportunity to the IAABC community."

As behavioral medicine continues to play an increasingly important role in companion animal care, collaboration between veterinarians and certified behavior consultants has never been more important. Many of the challenges facing pets, including anxiety, fear and aggression, require a coordinated approach that combines medical and behavioral expertise. By bringing AI-powered documentation to both professions, CoVet is helping reduce administrative burden while supporting more consistent communication, stronger collaboration and better outcomes for animals and the families who care for them.
